About Us
I first launched this site in fall of 2008. It started as a Webs site, and then moved to
http://georgieh.com. The site was started by me, Emma; Kaye joined the team about a year later; and in September 2011, Maja took over the style section, with Willow joining shortly after to do make-up and hair tutorials.When I first got the idea for the site, I was thinking of a name for it, when suddenly the word
gorgeous came to me. It described Georgie well, and sounded great with her name, so it stuck, and the site was called 'Gorgeous Georgie'. Then, in May of 2011, with Georgie's acting career heading in a new direction since her time in the
Narnia films was over, I decided to change the site name to
Georgie Central. Here at
Georgie Central, we are dedicated to making this the best site it can possibly be. The site has changed and grown a lot over the years, but we are still dedicated to being the best Georgie Henley fansite on the web. We hope that you will enjoy your visit to
